Home·Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the vemadalaw.com website collects, what we use it for, and what we never do with it. It is written to be understood, not to cover ourselves.

Who we are

Vemada Law is an immigration firm with offices in Aventura and Doral, Florida. For any question about this policy you can write to info@vemadalaw.com or call (954) 470-6636.

Information we collect

  • What you give us in the contact form: name, phone number, email address, type of case, and the message you write.
  • What the server records automatically: IP address, date and time, and the browser used. This is what any web server logs, and we use it for security and to limit mass form submissions.

We do not ask for, and do not need, documents or case records through the website. In fact, we ask you not to include confidential information in the form until we have agreed in writing to represent you.

What we use it for

Only to answer your inquiry and, if you decide to hire us, to handle your case. Nothing else.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your information or hand it to third parties for commercial purposes.
  • We do not use your data for advertising and we do not share it with ad networks.
  • This website has no web analytics, no tracking pixels, and no advertising cookies.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your inquiry or your case. Your consent is voluntary and is not a condition of retaining our services.

  • Message frequency varies depending on the status of your case.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or write to info@vemadalaw.com.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Regarding your phone number and your consent, this is our commitment:

Third-party services the site uses

There are few, and we name them:

  • Hostinger, where the site is hosted.
  • Google Workspace, where we receive the form messages. The form sends email from our own mailbox: it does not pass through any outside form service.
  • Google Maps, to show the office locations on the contact page. When that map loads, Google may record your IP address under its own policies.
  • Google Fonts, for the site's typefaces, with the same effect.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no tracking cookies. It uses a single marker in your browser's session storage so the intro animation does not repeat as you move between pages. It is deleted when you close the tab and it identifies no one.

How long we keep your information

Form messages stay in our email. If we do not end up working together, we delete them once they are no longer needed. If you become a client, your file is kept according to the professional rules that govern attorneys in Florida.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and form messages travel over an authenticated connection to our mailbox. No system is infallible, but we do not expose your data to unnecessary third parties.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@vemadalaw.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If your case is already open, there is information we are required to keep under professional obligations.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information through the form.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date shown at the end. If the change is significant, we will say so visibly on the site.
